Rationale

My interpretation of a ramp experiments with the idea that a ramp in it’s simplest form is a curved or slightly adjacent form, or shape. By using this theory in a practical sense I have created a 3D runway for a fashion show. It shows the ramp in the form of a roof, walkway and seating, with decorative elements in the same form. This then shows a contrast between decorative and practical depending on the given use. The runway has a modernity about it, perhaps because of the organic lines of the curves, an occurring aesthetic in the design world.
